St. Cloud Family Invites Community to Honor Lana Fellows’ Legacy and Support Arts Scholarship One Year After Tragic Loss

Remembering Lana: A Call to Support Arts Education in St. Cloud

As the first anniversary of Lana Fellows’ untimely passing approaches, her family in St. Cloud, Florida, is reaching out to the community to honor her memory and promote safe driving.

Lana, an 18-year-old recent graduate of St. Cloud High School, tragically lost her life in a car accident on November 24, 2024.

She had just begun her studies at the College of William & Mary, pursuing marketing and entrepreneurship, with aspirations to study abroad.

Her parents, Rob and Megan Fellows, have faced an incredibly challenging year but express deep gratitude for the unwavering support from friends, family, and the St. Cloud community.

They extend special thanks to individuals like Shana Burns at St. Cloud High School, Heather Stover at Antigravity Orlando, and Nicole at Hersey’s Florist for their heartfelt efforts in keeping Lana’s memory alive.

Throughout her life, Lana was deeply involved in the arts.

She led the Golden Girls dance team at her high school and was a professional aerialist, earning accolades over six years.

Her passion for creativity and kindness left a lasting impact on those around her.

The accident occurred when Lana’s boyfriend, unfamiliar with the area, missed a stop sign at the intersection of Nolte Road and Old Hickory Tree Road.

Their vehicle was struck by another car that was speeding.

Lana’s boyfriend survived and was not found at fault, while the other driver received a seatbelt violation.

By sharing these details, the Fellows family hopes to raise awareness about the importance of safe driving, especially during the holiday season.

In honor of Lana’s artistic spirit, the family has established the Arts Alive Lana Fellows Scholarship through the Education Foundation of Osceola County.

This scholarship aims to support students pursuing the arts, reflecting Lana’s dedication to creativity.

The Fellows family invites community members to contribute to the scholarship fund, ensuring that Lana’s legacy continues to inspire and support young artists in St. Cloud.

For more information on how to donate, please contact the Education Foundation of Osceola County.
